Alright guys, today we're going to talk about getting stuff done. And knowing exactly what you have to do, here's a number. Another number one business killers not knowing exactly what to do when you wake up, what steps do I take? These might be some of the questions in your mind, what steps do I take?

What do I do next? If you don't know what to do next, the odds are you're gonna do nothing, you'll put it off, you'll procrastinate, say, well, I'll have to figure out a buyer training to be told exactly what to do. And that is a huge problem. And so what I need you to do is think about, what is it that I need to get done?

What are some of the components that I need to have in my business, whether it's an autoresponder, which is just an email service that allows you to send email. So we all know that we need email, we've talked about this on previous podcasts, turning borrowed traffic into traffic that you own.

So as you publish to your channels, whether it's a video, audio or text, so like YouTube, or podcasts or blog, you need to be able to own the channel that you're publishing to a lot of people don't do that, you need to do that. So whether it's setting up a WordPress blog under a domain that you own.

Setting up a podcast, that you don't own the podcast or the platform, but you can take those podcasts, and you can record them and put them in get download a free recorder and put them on your blog. So even if that podcast service goes under those recordings are saved on their on your WordPress pages or whatever platform you're using.

And that also you could take a speech to text and you could take the audio and turn that into speak to in my bed, you could take the can't talk today, you can actually take the audio and turn it into text. And that can be your article that could be right under the podcast widget that you use on your podcast or your your blog post or whatever.

So that you can add content and make a blog post or you could simply just write a blog post. But either way out of all these things you want to be able to as people opt in everything you do, you want to turn people to a URL where they can opt in where they can enter their email address, which will be owned by the autoresponders, such as AWeber, or whatever autoresponder you're using.

But you had to take it a step further, you always want to at least once a week, download that list. You can do that in a file, a different type of file types and save it to a thumb drive. So in case anything happens to that company, you'll have a list make sure to save all the data with it. In order to migrate that data over to another autoresponder service that you can use to send large amounts of email to your subscribers.

You'll need to use an autoresponder service unless you're using a self hosted service which I wouldn't recommend unless you're very techie. Even then you want to use a good autoresponder service that has good relationship with ISPs or internet service providers. Okay. And so you can set up SPS and DKMs and stuff like that.

And that's all technical stuff, those autoresponders they'll have information on how to do all that stuff. And that will increase the deliverability of your emails and make it more likely for email to hit that inbox because Google and other places are now sending your emails to the spam or promotion inboxes.

You also might want to incentivize people to whitelist your email. So the email that you're sending them the from email that they get when they receive email from you, you want to get them to whitelist that in their email service provider.

So that way they can receive your email in their priority inbox. And you can take a video and show them again exactly how to do it. And you can incentivize it by giving them a free framework. So there's two kinds of incentives to give people if you're doing physical products, you can create a coupon code and give that to them, which is useful for a certain amount of time.

In order for them to they'll get the coupon code once they whitelist, your email address, or you can give free framework or a coupon again, for digital. If you're selling digital products, and services. If you do that, if you give them a ethical bribe, in exchange to whitelist you that is going to be worth whatever it costs you to give the ethical bribe, whether it's the free report The Free framework.

If you will, frameworks are great to give as gifts, especially when you can explain what they are. A framework is basically just a set of instructions on how to do something really cool that they want to do. For information. Let's take internet marketing as an example, here's my framework for how to send emails that are 10 times more effective than anybody else.

His emails are the 99% of people that send emails, you can be 10% more effective by following this framework as an example. And it's just a process. Okay? Processes are very powerful for information, stuff, and products. And services. If you're doing physical products, coupon codes are really great, because they'll be able to help people to save money.

And that's a good incentive there. By getting people to whitelist, your email is very important. If you don't know what whitelisting is, look that up, that can be your first assignment. But you do you want to make a list of what you know. Now, you can't make a list of what you don't know, because you don't know what you don't know.

But those are the unknown unknowns. But what I want you to do is for the stuff that you do know that you have to get done, make a list. And oftentimes, you'll financial marketing, especially or marketing in general is that things are not always done in an ABC fashion, most of the time, you might do a C B back to A D, you know, and then back to B and it kind of goes back and forth that way.

And so you need to get used to that of kind of jumping back and forth, and kind of figuring stuff out. Because as you're doing stuff, some some things might take a while to settle. Like if you're working with your domain, you have to wait for propagation. So you're doing something and then it will take 24 to 48 hours or more for something to propagate.

And you're not just gonna sit in your thumbs and do nothing else. So you have other things that you have to do while you're waiting for that to happen. And then even after your wait for that there could be errors, which means you have to do it again. And that ties into the podcast, we talked about technical difficulties, not in the beginning, when you're setting up your business.

You're going to have a lot of technical difficulties that you have to learn to know you don't need to be an expert in all these things. But you do need to have a general idea of how your business works. If you try to outsource everything, you don't know anything in your business works. That's a huge opportunity for people to take advantage of you and a huge opportunity for you to know know how things work.

And if you don't know how things work, you won't be able to see the opportunities. Knowing how things work, at least to a rudimentary level in your business will afford you the ability to see opportunities that most marketers miss. Alright, so I definitely recommend that you have a general working knowledge of how things work in your business, even at a rudimentary level.

Okay, and making a list and checking it twice and getting things done. And then later on, we'll talk about knowing what programs are people to follow, to buy that you can further educate yourself.

And these will usually be people that are very successful and can prove in many ways and we'll talk more about that but I wanted to keep this one more about just doing what you know the you need to do right now. And you need to stick with it until stick with one thing until it gets done until you do another thing unless you have to wait again like if you're waiting for something to propagate.

If you change your DNA servers are your your domain, your name servers to another view, if you point them to your host, say you bought your domain at GoDaddy, and you want to host it on Hostgator. Because it was cheaper at GoDaddy, for example, or Bluehost. But Bluehost is not your host.

But HostGator is because they had a better deal, then you need to change your name servers to point to Hostgator. So you'll have to wait, there's a propagation time for that it's usually faster than they say. But either way, I hope that you get the point here is that getting stuff done is going to take work and patience.

And a lot of the work is just kind of being patient and dealing with not knowing how to do most of the things that you need to know how to do. Okay, and most in the beautiful thing about this is most of these things, once they're set up, you won't have to do them again for a while, which is great.

So you don't have to be an expert. Now, at the end of the day, if if you're just finding yourself hitting roadblock, after roadblock, and you can't get something done, go to go to a place like oDesk or Fiverr. And just make a listing say, Hey, I don't know how to do this thing, I'll pay someone to do this thing.

And you can find someone to do it for you very cheaply, you may have to give them login credentials and are built to do for you. So you'll have to go ahead and know how to change your login credentials or password after the fact. I don't usually trust doing that. Because especially they can put malicious code and other things or whatever.

So it depends on what you're working on and your trust level of this stuff. And for me, I've never had to actually do that. But there may be a time where you're going to have to trust someone to go ahead and, you know, look at the ratings, look at their their ratings and see how other people have rated their work and services, if they've done very well.

You know, and they have a lot of reviews, and they've been working on that platform for a while, then don't hire someone new on there, hire someone that has a good reputation on there.

And it might be worth to pay them the extra more money than someone that's new, that might charge less, to get the job done right, and to work with someone that's more trustworthy, and actually cares about their reputation on oDesk, or platforms like that are Fiverr places where people want to have a good reputation and longevity on that site.

Okay. So getting things done, if you find and use that as a last resort, when you can't get something done, or you don't have the time, then hire it out. So that you can get it done. You must get it done. There's there's nothing, there's no excuse in the world not to get it done. You must get it done. Okay.

And so make your list of things that need to get done, and then go ahead and start knocking that nest that list down. And as you keep going, you're going to hit a point where you're like, Okay, what do I do next? What are my next steps? Like? How do I build this out so that my SEO is good?

While I'm building, say you're building content, you're building valuable content for your site, whether it's physical or digital products? Well, you want to if you're going to build content anyway, you might as well do you know, get your SEO, right, which is search engine optimization, you want to be found on Google.

And there are simple, very easy habits that you can develop, to follow as you're posting content, so that your SEO can actually be optimized. And there are tools to check that will actually tell you what to do and what to fix. So very important to kind of look at that stuff and make sure you're doing stuff, right. Okay. Later on. We'll talk about

how to you know who to model, what kind of products that you might want to buy or are continuing educational products, which incidentally, you build to write off on taxes most of the time.

You can talk to your CPA about that. But at the end of the day, you do want to make sure that you're getting stuff done in every day. You need to get something done if you don't know what to do.

That's when we can start looking for continuing education. so that you can get stuff done alright so I'm going to cut it off there otherwise I'd gone for a long time about this topic but I hope that you have a blessed day.
