Alright guys, this is Derek Soto, I'm gonna talk to you today about something important, your business will be as healthy as you are, must understand this, anybody that you would follow.
That's a high level business owner, they come to this realization when it comes to maximizing and scaling their business, that they can't do that while eating Dorito chips and partying and spending time with the Chico's and all the other stuff, you know, our if you're a girl with a dude, or whatever it is, okay.
At the end of the day, how well you take care of yourself is going to determine how well your business does. You really can't have it both ways. Unless you hire somebody that actually does take care of themselves to run your business for you. If you're running the business, but you're a mess, your business will reflect
and will be affected by how you live your life and the life choices that you make.
And you're going to have a hard time scaling and finding the massive success that you want.
You know, unless you're cool coasting, and unfortunately, a lot of business people are cool coasting, and they don't want to grow. And they get to a level that they're comfortable with. And, you know, I think that's unfortunate.
Because it doesn't, when you get complacent, I've been there, you get to a level where you're comfortable financially, and then
he just coast and that drive in that push, it goes away. And that can actually destroy your business. And that happened to me one time. So I'm telling you,
you know me, I didn't make good decisions. And you can't separate the two your business is a reflection of how you live your life. And so if part of scaling your business and optimizing it is optimizing yourself, and this may be counterintuitive.
You're like, well, how does what I eat, or how I sleep make a difference in how much money I can make in my businesses. How successful can be? Well, it's a lot. Because if you can't think clearly, and if you work on hours or crazy hours or too many hours and don't rest and don't have good life, work balance,
your business is just going to be a mess. And you're going to be the bottleneck the problem the hold up as to the business succeeding and growing as big as it could.
And even if you don't want a massive business, and you want a you know, say you want to stay pick a number 30,000 a month, whatever.
And you want to stick there, you know,
and sustain that. And that's that's where you want to be as an example. And your lifestyle fits that and everything like that, or 100,000 a month or whatever million a month, whatever it is you want to do.
You're still going to have to take care of yourself, otherwise those numbers will dip. Okay? You have to
understand you have if you're optimizing your funnel, how much more important is it to optimize your health and yourself.
You know, you can tell by the discipline and someone and what they do and the content they put out with it, you know, whether they're workaholic or if they're doing things the right way.
You can tell by seeing the business and the culture, you can feel it.
And when you feel the culture of the business, your feelings
that end result that user experience that in a way you're feeling how the person that's steering the ship is living their life.
And so if you find that the user experience is horrible, or you know, customer service sucks or whatever it is,
most of the time, almost all the time it's a reflection of problems with the person steering the ship, the owner of that business has
is slacking in an area. So if you're going to do business with a company, look at the person, how they live their life. If you want your business to do better, start optimizing yourself. exercise, eat right, sleep, right?
You know, optimize yourself. Everybody that I follow that is successful, has an A has a routine of optimizing themselves. And the people that are truly successful, they are very discipline with their bodies, and their minds in there.
They meditate or they pray, and they eat healthy, and they exercise and they sleep well. And they declutter and they take care of themselves. And the most successful people don't pile up on a whole bunch of junk and fancy cars and million houses and all this other stuff.
But rather, they simplify, because those are distractions. When your business is the thing that gives you the fulfillment,
you know, that you get fulfillment out of your business, if you're Christian like me, you know, I get fulfillment out of following Christ, and but the thing is that I'm so far, perfect.
It's far from perfect in that area. I, I, you know, I need Jesus more than some atheist really. So at the end of the day, like I would say that,
you know, just being totally honest with you, as you're listening,
is that, from what I see from my own perspective, and you may see this yourself is that as you follow people that are successful, you see that they optimize themself.
And so I'm working on doing that, and I recommend that you do that as well. Alright, so just remember that your business is going to be as healthy as you are. All right. God bless
