Alright guys, so we're gonna talk about a business lesson that I think everyone should learn. As you're starting to build your business, you need to think about building a community building a tribe building a following. Think more like church or like a group or a club. What kind of group or club?
Do you want to be a part of what kind of community do you want to be a part of, as you build your community, your business will grow itself, it really will. But you want to build a community and build your business community centric, which means that the community comes first and the business stuff, you'll figure it out that come.
Secondly, building companies on based off of a community will give you a cult like following. So when you sell products and things like that, people will loyally follow you, if you take a look at Apple, even though they have their phones, or at least two years behind Samsung, people will wait in line for days to pick up that new iPhone, even though nothing's really changed about it that much, or whatever.
There is a I'm not gonna mention these guys names, but there's two competitors in the internet marketing space that are creating funnel builders, okay?
One person has a funnel builder that can do everything on the planet and more, uh, he, he, he's building this thing. And he's calling it this powerful thing that can destroy every other, you know, every other funnel builder person should be scared, yada, yada, blah, blah, blah. And this other guy is focusing on the community more.
He still build this funnel thing and still makes it work and stuff like that, and adds features as they go. But they're focused more on the community, and helping people to become successful. And guess what? The person that built the funnel, software that can do everything that I guarantee you, they're not going to even touch the revenue that the company that's community centric, that is customer centric.
And that's focusing more on the community, and the user experience, then features. At the end of the day, most people are not going to use a million different features. It actually is very simple. So one guy that's focusing on all these features and being able to do everything under the sun.
Yeah, that's great software, it's awesome. But there's no community behind it. At least for now. It might change he might, he might understand this, he probably does. But how he implements it, he might he has to do it, right. But the thing is the guy I tell you right now, if I had to invest in one or one or the other company, I would.
I wouldn't even think I would invest in the company that has built up a culture that's almost like a cult like following. And so when you build your company, make it community centric, make it about the customer. Okay, that's how Amazon grew to how big it was they focused on making the customer experience the best it could be.
I mean, come on you one click button, and you're buying stuff. And next day shipping, I mean, come on, right? You know, it kind of doesn't get better than that. So you're being part of a community. Everyone wants to be a part of a community, they want to be a part of something. And if you can make a community that people want to be a part of that they want to get in and they want to be one of you.
Okay, they want to be one of the cool kids, if you can make yourself the cool kid in your space, people will want to be a part of that community. And if you're there to lend a helping hand and help hold their hand throughout the process and help them to get them the results that they need to get.
You will dominate your space, you really will, if you use sound marketing principles that will talk throughout these podcast, but I really just kind of wanted to get this lesson out there about focusing on building a community first.
And you know, everything you do, if you do some if you're faced with a decision, a business decision, your first question should be does this either help or hurt our community? Does this either help or hurt our customer experience? And if it hurts the customer experience or hurts the community than the answer is always no.
But if it helps the community or it helps the customer, then the answer should usually be yes. And so I really recommend that you focus on the community and your business will practically build itself you will have so many brand ambassadors for you, that you will never run out of customers.
You will have more customers than you can handle because they will run and they will be apostles for you, they will be they will they will go and preach your product to the end of the earth. Okay.
And so, at the end of the day, keep your business community centric, customer centric and community centric and your business if you grow your community and you grow a powerful following and a powerful community, your business will take care of itself. All right. God bless.
