We're gonna keep this one a little short. But it really is important to understand this when it comes to the old entrepreneurship and business. And that is getting the quick win.
So the quick win how I define that, as when you're doing something when you're following an endeavor, whether you're using offline marketing tools, or online marketing tools, whatever you're doing, a lot of people want the quick win. And that's good to do when you're, it's good to help clients, when you have the knowledge and experience, it's important.
If you're consulting to get your client the quick win. Otherwise, you're gonna lose that client pretty quickly, we're going to look at the other side of the coin.
But this aspect of the quick win, is when you're starting out, expect to be an overnight success after about a year or more of hard work, where you're working in obscurity, where you're working, where nobody knows who you are, where you haven't found your voice yet, and you continually and doggedly approach your and publish your your content, whatever it is, and just document what you're doing.
Don't worry about having crazy, awesome lessons, people will grow with you. And they'll like your ideas as you go and stuff like that. They won't like everything. And that's okay.
You can't concern yourself without people like, but you just speak who you are and be who you are. So let's cover this real quick, the quick win for you, instead of looking at it as your ultimate goal of I want to have a site that makes XYZ or I want to have an offline business that makes XYZ or I want to have a certain amount of followers or customers or whatever your goal is.
Your quick win should be I accomplished recording my thing today and nobody heard it and nobody saw it. That's your quick win the feeling of I did it. I did the thing that I committed to do. So I'm doing this in real time. So that if you're listening, you can see oh, okay, well, you get to practice what you preach.
People respect that telling someone to do something and they don't see you doing it, it kind of ruins it and not kind of it does guaranteed to ruin and fall on deaf ears. But when they see you forging your path and building your audience step by step, like I'm doing, I've already forged for the last over 20 years, an audience and another niche.
But I'm starting from scratch with this just to show you that it doesn't matter where you are, doesn't matter how old you are, you can start forging a path in anything that you're interested in talking about. So the quick win today is simple. Pick a channel, whether it's voice, video, or text and make one piece of content every single day.
And that will be your quick win. And it's a good feeling knowing I accomplished it. So this one's very short, but at the same time, very powerful. So if you missed it, or if you didn't quite understand what I was saying, Go back and read it again. And of course, I'm going to make this little mini podcast as though I'm starting out I'm going to pretend I don't have a site to send you to.
So I'm not going to send you to any URLs right now, which I usually would do at the end of every podcast because it's important to do so you need to make many offers. But I'm going to pretend that I don't have any of that yet and show you how I do that. Okay, so this will be a journey will you'll actually learn every day.
As you listen, you'll learn more and more how to forge your audience, you'll learn how to set up a place to send them and it will be as people start to listen to your podcast, they'll go back and some people will go back and actually binge listen to your content, especially if it's not 12 hours each. And then I'll show you how to turn that borrowed traffic into traffic you own.
Okay, so in the meantime, today, this is my quick win making this recording and so I encourage you to get your quick win today. All right. God bless you and we'll talk soon.
